- شادی میں جلوے كی رسم (اس كی صورت یہ ہوتی ہے كہ جب برات دلہن كے گھر پہنچتی ہے تو رخصتی سے پہلے دولہا دلہن كو سر جوڑكر اور سرخ دوپٹا یا دوشالہ ان كے سر پر ڈال كر آمنے سامنے بٹھاتے ہیں، بیچ میں تكیے پر آئینہ اور قرآن پاک سورۂ اخلاص كے مقام پر كھول كر اس طرح ركھتے ہیں كہ دونوں كو ایک دوسرے كی شكل آئینے میں نظر آسكے۔ اب دلہن والیاں دولہا سے كہتی ہیں: میاں اپنی زبان سے كہو كہ بیوی! آنكھیں كھولو! میں تمہارا غلام۔ اس طرح دلہن اصرار كے بعد آنكھیں كھولتی ہے اور دونوں آئینے میں ایک دوسرے كی صورت دیكھتے ہیں؛ ساتھ ہی قرآن پاک پر بھی نظر پڑتی ہے)
