(ہندو) منّت ماننے یا منّت پوری ہونے کے موقع پر چراغ جلا کر دریائے گنگا میں بہانا، چراغ گنگا کی نذر کرنا

ایسی محفل جس میں سب خاموش ہوں

(کنایہً) ایسی مٹھائی جس کا مزہ بیان کرنے سے انسان قاصر ہو.

(ہندو) جاتری دریائے گنگا کے میلوں کو جاتے ہوئے یہ نعرے لگاتے ہیں
