خدا جاگ رہا ہے ، دنیا غریبوں کے حال سے بے خبر ہے تو ہوا کرے خداے تعالیٰ سب کی خبر گیری کرتا ہے (جوگی بھکاریوں یا سادھووں کی صدا) ، (کنایۃً) خدا کے نام پر کچھ دو.

جس طرح سوئے ہوئے کا پتہ نہیں کب جاگے گا اسی طرح مسافر کے واپس آنے کا کوئی پتہ نہیں ہوتا

حواس درست ہونا، سوچنے سمجھنے کی صلاحیت برقرار ہونا، ہوش بجا ہونا، حواس بجا ہونا

۔مثل ہوشیار رہنے سے فائدہ ہوتا ہے۔ ؎
