متلاشی ’’متقابل، متعارف‘‘ وغیرہ کے وزن پر اردو میں یہ لفظ ’’تلاش‘‘ سے بنایا گیا ہے۔ عربی میں اس کا وجود نہیں، اور نہ ’’تلاش‘‘ ہی عربی میں ہے۔ لیکن اردو کی حد تک ’’متلاشی‘‘ بالکل درست ہے۔
