संज्ञा, स्त्रीलिंग
- शागिर्द होने की अवस्था या भाव। शिष्यता
- किसी से इलम सीखना , पेशा या हुनर की तर्बीयत लेना, मताल्लमी, तलम्मुज़
- किसी उस्ताद या आचार्य से किसी कला, शिल्प या विद्या का उपार्जन
- (मामारी) ताजदार दरवाज़े की बग़ली नशिस्त गाहों (चौकीयों) के आसार कार विकारी पत्थर जो चौकी की दोनों बग़लियों के लिए अलग अलग होता है, सामने की तरफ़ दोनों पत्थर एक सतून नुमा मटके में, जो चौकी के पटाओ के सामने की नोक के नीचे खड़ा किया जाता है जुड़े रहते हैं
- टहल या सेवा जो शागिर्द का कर्तव्य ह
