स्वर के हिंदी अर्थ
- कोमलता. तीव्रता, उतार-चढ़ाव आदि से युक्त वह शब्द, जो प्राणियों के गले अथवा एक वस्तु पर दूसरी वस्तु का आघात पड़ने से निकलता है।
- स्वर तंत्रियों के ढीले पड़ने और तनने के परिणाम स्वरूप उत्पन्न होनेवाली कंठध्वनि। सुर। (साउन्ड) मुहा०-स्वर फूंकना कोई ऐसा काम या बात करना, जिसका दूसरे पर पूरा प्रभाव पड़े अथवा वह अनुयायी या वशवर्ती हो जाय। स्वर मिलाना = किसी सुनाई पड़ते हुए स्वर के अनुसार स्वर उत्पन्न करना।।
