  • مُصَوَّتَہ ، جس کے ادا کرنے میں زبان سمت زیریں سے دوسرے درجے پر یعنی درمیان میں قائم ہوتی ہے اور ہونٹ گولائی کی طرف مائل . اس کی دو شکلیں ہیں: (۱) ایک وہ جس میں ہونٹوں کی گولائی زیادہ ہوتی ہے؛ اس کی معدود شکل ’اَ‘ کے بعد واو معروف سے ظاہر ہوتی ہے. (۲) دوسری وہ جس کے ادا کرنا میں ہونٹوں کی گولائی خفیف ہوتی ہے اور یہ ’اُ‘ واو مجہول کی آواز کا اختصار ہوتا ہے.
